We need to start looking at individuals as human beings, and not just look at their small consumer status.

Today, consumers are taking the initiative to dialogue with brands, to question them. They generate content, boycott a country, exchange dictatorships for spaces for dialogue where they are integrated. They consider imposition as a short-term path. They are awakened individuals. They knows that they has power, they want to use it, and they want to have a peer relationship with brands.
In this context, dialogue is mandatory. It is no longer possible not to integrate it, because the consumer will leave brands talking to themselves.
