OVERVIEW

The purpose of the book was to highlight a unique and exemplary experience, that of Las Manzaneras and Comadres committed to the fight against malnutrition and infant mortality in the province of Greater Buenos Aires.

This was another genuine desire. To show how the presence and daily action of these women in their neighborhood has been able to give back faith in life to the inhabitants, and has helped to create a social bond around care and dignity.
